The Planetarium at Glasgow Science Centre has been upgraded to a spectacular state-of-the-art fulldome digital projection system. In our live presenter-led shows, delivered by an expert team of astronomers and science communicators, we will take you on journeys through the solar system, into the Milky Way Galaxy and beyond, offering a truly out of this world experience. We also show spectacular fulldome films, displayed 360° across the 15-metre hemispherical dome of the planetarium giving a truly immersive experience. On weekdays the planetarium runs a mix of public shows and school group shows, covering all stages of the Curriculum for Excellence, and public shows on afternoons, weekends, and holidays. In addition we run regular Planetarium Lates most Saturday nights from 7-8pm, along with our David Elder Lecture Series, presented in collaboration with the University of Strathclyde. Marvel at our stunning Space Zone while you wait to board the planetarium and lift off into the cosmos for the journey of a lifetime.
