Opening Times

Science Centre: 10am-4pm Hampshire school days, 10am-5pm weekends. Holiday hours vary, please check the website.

Winchester Science Centre is just off the M3 with a large, on-site car park, and coach bays right next to the entrance for school groups, who are welcomed by the Education Team. The 17m giant on-site planetarium seats up to 176 visitors and offers a wide variety of shows from live, presenter-led curriculum-focused astronomy shows to 360-degree fulldome films about dinosaurs and ecology. Schools shows are scheduled on demand. The 6m mobile digital planetarium visits schools and venues across the South with a variety of shows from live astronomy shows with questions and answers to fulldome films about cell biology and the history of Earth. Shows available for all ages including Nursery schools.
