A gobsmacking 17m tilted dome makes this one of the largest planetariums in the UK. Launched in 2008, it uses the latest digital projection technology to give a truly immersive experience. Featured on national TV and media, the planetarium is a new addition to the INTECH hands-on science centre.

Since its launch in 1996, more than 100 000 people have experienced the Mizar Planetarium. The inflatable dome holds up to 35 and can be tailored to suit individual requirements.

Science Dome is designed to explore science, geology and geography in an interactive way. We provide a mobile planetarium and natural history shows (rocks, soils, fossils and dinosaurs) to schools, colleges, youth clubs, scouts groups and playgroups.
